LILY BEVAN
Artistic
Director
Lily is Artistic Director of
Osip Theatre. Having completed a degree in Social & Political Sciences
at Jesus College, Cambridge University, she trained for three years in
Acting at RADA. Lily writes for various literary publications, as well
as writes, produces and directs plays. Lily has directed work at various
London venues, at Cambridge university, at RADA and at the Edinburgh
Festival. Osip Theatre have work upcoming at The Latitude Festival and
The Kings Head Theatre. Lily has been employed by the National Theatre
in both Casting and Contracts departments. As an actress Lily has worked
extensively in London including at The Donmar, Wyndhams West End and
for Shared Experience.
ELEANOR LANG
Co-Producer
Eleanor graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in English Literature
in 2005. While at university she directed and produced a number of productions
and co-founded the production company HC Productions Ltd. After graduating
Eleanor started as an intern at the Donmar Warehouse, before becoming General
Assistant and Office Administrator. She now works for Y Touring Theatre
Company as General Manager. Producing credits include Road (Sherman
Theatre), The Crucible (YMCA Theatre, Cardiff), Hardcore 24/7 (Sweet
on the Royal Mile, Edinburgh), The Graham Connection (Sweet on
the Royal Mile, Edinburgh), 24 Hour Plays: Old Vic New Voices 2006, The
Exquisite Corpse (Wales Millennium Centre).
CAL McCRYSTAL
Director
Cal McCrystal trained at the Royal Scottish Academy
of Music & Drama
and at Ecole Philippe Gaulier. For many years he worked extensively as
an actor in television, theatre, film and radio. Now, as a writer/director
his work is regularly seen worldwide. Productions include Spymonkey shows, Stiff,
(winner: Total Theatre Award), the internationally successful gothic thriller, Cooped and
the biblical epic, Bless; the original Mighty Boosh stage shows, Auto
Boosh and The Mighty Boosh, (winner: Perrier Award for Best
Newcomer); Derby Playhouse productions of Joe Orton's Loot and
Alan Bennett's Kafka's Dick, Frank Marcus's The Killing of
Sister George; Christmas shows for the last 4 years at The Newbury
Corn Exchange; The Bubonic Play and Hello Dalai for the
Piggy Nero company; The Specialists and The Titanic Show for
the comedy string trio, Pluck; The Joy Of Wine and I' Lear for
The Black Sheep; three of Peepolykus's best loved shows - Let the Donkey
Go, I Am A Coffee and Horses for Courses; The
Glories Of Gloria for Canadian clown, Mooky Shmooky; Callate for
the Adriana Duch Company in Mexico and shows at the Edinburgh Festival
Fringe for Kate Dimbleby, Population 3, Mel & Sue and Cambridge Footlights.
Cal was comedy director for Borat as host of the 2005 MTV European
Music Awards.
In 2002 Cal was invited by Cirque du Soleil to be Comedy Director/Concepteur for their clown routines. His work can be seen in their touring circus, Varekai, the internationally syndicated TV variety series, Solstrom, and the erotic cabaret, Zumanity, now in its sixth year at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
He is a director on 3 series of ITV's Comedy Cuts. His feature film of The Bubonic Play is in post-production. Last year Cal directed and co-wrote the hit Barbican show, Office Party and he returns to the Barbican this December directing Christopher Green in Ida Barr - So This Is Christmas.
2009 sees Cal opening new shows in Brussels, Bilbao, São Paulo and Paris.
HANNA BERRIGAN
Director
Hanna has an BA from Oxford, and an MA from RADA and King's. She trained
at the Gate Theatre, and attended Directors Programme at the National Theatre
Studio.
Work includes : Birds (for Osip Theatre), Ionesco's The Bald Prima Donna (Etcetera Theatre), Paradox by Nebosja Romcevic (RSC Fringe Festival), La Musica Deuxième by Marguerite Duras (Gate Theatre), Falk Richter's God is a DJ ( Theatre 503) and Pinter's The Birthday Party (Edinburgh Festival ). Hanna has assisted Bill Gaskill, Howard Barker, Erica Whyman and Sean Holmes. She has worked at the National, the RSC, the Royal Court and in the West End. She was Associate Director on The 39 Steps, and has directed productions of the show in Isreal, Italy, Hong Kong and Australia.
PETER SALEM
MD & Composer
Peter has worked as MD and composer at The National Theatre, RSC, Royal Court,
Bristol Old Vic and many regional theatres. He has composed the music and
sound for almost all Shared Experience Theatre's productions (Mill
on the Floss, Anna Karenina, Jane Eyre, War
and Peace) most recently Kindertransport and Mine.
Most of his time now is spent writing music for TV. TV dramas include Sex
the City and Me, Great Expectations, Beau Brummell, The
Other Boleyn Girl, The Vice, Trial and Retribution, Painted
Lady. Documentaries include Francesco's Venice and Simon
Shama's The Power of Art:Caravaggio.
CHARLOTTE MANN
Designer
Charlotte Mann graduated from St Martins Fashion Design Women's
wear BA in 2000, and has since worked as a designer, stylist, illustrator
and curator.
On graduating she was invited to Baku, Azerbaijan with Andrew Logan to show an extended version of her graduation collection. She spent the next four years designing main collection and show pieces for Russell Sage (including a dress made from real bank notes, now archived in the V&A, and pieces made with antique animal skins, which were featured in an exhibition at the Metropollitan Museum of Art in New York).
She designed and made the 'flower dress' worn by Leah Woods
for Laura Ashley at the Chelsea flower show, which generated a great deal
of press coverage, and featured on the front cover of Tatler. She was the
costume designer and stylist for Eddie Izzard's Sexie tour.
She drew the backdrop for Peter Jensen's Spring 2007 catwalk show, a photo of which is still used as the front page of Catwalking.com. In May 2007 she had an exhibition in the window gallery at B-store, Saville Row.
She was one of the collaborators in the Kickers X project
and designed a Kick-Hi boot for them featuring her drawings.
Charlotte had been teaching for the University Of The Arts
since 2001, she is an Associate Lecturer at St Martins, Chelsea School
of Art and Camberwell College of Art, and curates the Camberwell Foundation
Film program, at the Vue Cinema Leicester Square, attracting guests such
as Mike Leigh, Lynne Ramsay and Bruno Dumont. She also teaches at The Prince's
Drawing School.

Designer

ROBERT IDE
Designer
Robert Ide studied at W.S.C.A.D. He has designed productions
at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Young Vic, Manchester Forum, Crewe Theatre and
Chester Gateway. Design credits include: Crown Matrimonial, Jack
the Ripper (musical), My Fat Friend, The Importance of
Being Earnest, Hobson's Choice, Lady Windermere's Fan, Wuthering
Heights, Suddenly at Home, The Rembrandt Room and Pygmalion.
Robert joined Thames Television as a Production Designer.
Credits for Drama series/ TV films include: Rosemary and Thyme, Imaginary
Friends, Love in a Cold Climate (joint Bafta nomination), Lytton's
Diary, Mr Palfrey of Westminster, Gems, The
Brack Report, Island, The Bill, Ending Up, Sharpe's

ALEX STONE
Lighting Designer
Alex graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama in
2006 Recent Lighting credits include: The last days of Gilda (The
Arcola) The Cows Come Home (Arkhaus, CPT) The Whoopee Carnival (The
Scoop) The House of the sandman (33 Portland Place).
Current projects include: The Year of the Pig (Embassy
Theatre) Cope (2010 UK tour).
ALEX CAPLEN
Sound Designer
Alex began his career in theatrical sound at the Nuffield Theatre, and eventually moved on to design. Sound Design credits include Mine and Ten Tiny Toes, War and Peace, Kindertransport (Shared Experience). Other Sound Design credits include: Peter Pan, Holes, Duck Variations (Tour), The Wizard of Oz (Nuffield Theatre); Imogen (Oval House/Tour). Sound Operator credits include: Blood Brothers (International Tour); Ballroom (Tour). Alex is a member of the Sound department at the Royal Court with shows including The Pain and the Itch, Rhinoceros, The Arsonists, Free Outgoing, Now or Later, Gone too Far (Hackney Empire). Alex has also worked as a touring Front of House engineer for large scale music touring.
LEE EVANS
Sound Designer
Lee has been employed as a sound engineer by The English National Opera, The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Barbican Theatre. He has been involved in creating sound installations at the LUX Gallery for the Today Programme on Radio 4, for Completely Naked in Berlin, and The Selfish Giants Garden at The Barbican Centre.
His sounds designs include 109 The Boat show for The People Show, The Beckett Centenary Festival at The Barbican Theatre, Hawkins Dream at Theatre Kunstlerhaus, Vienna, The Bald prima Donna at the Etcetera Theatre, The Lesson at the Arcola and Jack And The Beanstalk at the Barbican. Lee has written music for Channel 4 documentaries, independent film companies and for the last few years.
SARAH TRYFAN
Stage Manager
Sarah trained in Stage Management at RADA.
Recent theatre includes: Scenes from the Back of Beyond, The
Arsonists, Birth of a Nation, The Ugly One, The
Stone, Over There (Royal Court); Mine (Shared
Experience); I'll Be The Devil (RSC); King of Hearts (Out
of Joint/Hampstead Theatre).

MARTE BERGSLAN
Stage Manager
Marte graduated from Theatre Technical Arts and Stage
Management course at RADA in 2008. After graduating she has worked as
Production Manager for a Fashion Show Forgotten Peacock, and as Assistant
for the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremonies. Of previous experience she has been
Stage Manager
on Tour for the National
Touring Company of Norway, as well as Stage Manager at Hålogaland Theatre
situated in the North of Norway. She has a BA in Theatre and Film studies
from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
